Progress Update - July 2024
We have exciting news!
Earlier this year we sent out our Renewal Building Project for bidding to multiple potential general contractors. We have reviewed the four bids received and are delighted to confirm that we have chosen our building contractor for the works at 1019 California Avenue. We are finalizing contracts and plan to start work in August.
Alongside this building work, we have already started to make improvements to the Sanctuary and VKids Building:
Air Conditioning has been added to the balcony and upgraded on the main floor of the Sanctuary.
We have opened three new classrooms for VKids, enabling a separate classroom for every grade for the first time.
We have commissioned a mural in the VKids building, creating a dedicated and inspiring environment for our children as they attend their Sunday Programs.
We have updated the restroom in the nursing mom's room in the Sanctuary.
We’ll continue these Renewal improvements to the Sunday experience, for both in-person and online attendees as construction continues.
