In the midst of the devastation caused by the Palisades and Eaton fires, we know that many families are carrying so much.

Amanda Hewlett our VKids Director and Mnistry Director Jeff Han, recently had the privilege of sitting down with David Thomas and Sissy Goff, two incredible voices in the world of child and adolescent development, to talk about parenting in the midst of crisis. Exploring what it looks like to walk with our children through fear and loss, how to offer them security when the world feels unsteady. And how to help them see God’s goodness even in the hardest moments.

This conversation was deeply encouraging, and we hope it will be for you too. We talk about practical ways to support our kids emotionally and spiritually, the importance of allowing them to grieve, and how we, as parents, can lead with faith even as we navigate our own emotions.
