Find Your Team
Sunday Teams
Come be part of making Sundays happen! Our volunteer teams create space for people to find community, build relationships, and take ownership of their church. Our Sunday Teams are made up of two areas: Support and Experience, and together we serve as one team leading with radical hospitality and teamwork at the heart.
We’re looking for people who are outgoing, hospitable, and bring a can-do attitude. Join our Parking, Welcome, Kitchen, or Connect Teams and help make Sundays happen!
Commitment: once a month for one or more services of your choice.
LoveLA
LoveLA is our way of bringing Social Transformation, serving our city in practical, hands on ways. We’re looking for flexible, reliable volunteers who want to step into leadership at events by greeting guests, sorting donations, representing Vintage, and supporting outreach and partner events.
This team is event based and includes opportunities like outreach dinners for our houseless neighbors, donation sorting, meal prep, and quarterly serve days such as the Compton Initiative, blood drives, clothing drives, Habitat house builds, and Christmas outreach events. LoveLA is a chance to build community, make a real impact in Los Angeles, and help meet practical needs while representing the love of Jesus in action.
Commitment: Very flexible! Event-based
Prayer
The Prayer Ministry Team exists to partner with the Holy Spirit in ministering to people during our services and prayer spaces. We listen for God’s voice, respond to what He is doing, and help create space for people to encounter Him personally. For those on our team there is room to grow and be developed in praying for others.
Commitment: 2x a month on Sundays with additional team meetings & occasional prayer events
Production &
Creative Media
The Production & Creative Media Teams are a place to serve behind the scenes, use your creative and technical skills to help create environments where people can encounter God in a meaningful way. Whether it is cameras, running slides, audio, creative photography/videography or stage support, these teams play a key role in making every service and event run smoothly and in capturing special moments.
We are looking for people with a heart to serve who are willing to learn and grow. For most roles, no experience is required and training will be provided.
Commitment: Flexible! We want to find a rhythm that works for you
VKids
Our VKids Team is a place to serve, have fun, and help children encounter Jesus in a safe, joyful, and engaging environment. We are looking for around 20 volunteers to serve with our 5–8 year olds during our Sunday services.
This team is about more than supervision, it is about helping kids feel known, cared for, and excited to learn about following Jesus in a way they can understand. Serving on the Kids Team builds community, brings joy, and creates space for spiritual growth, while making a real impact by helping plant seeds of faith that can last a lifetime.
Commitment: 2x a month on Sundays
VYouth
The VYouth Team is a place to invest in the next generation by building real relationships with our middle and high school students and helping them follow Jesus in a meaningful way. We are looking for committed volunteers who want to mentor young people in the way of Jesus.
We’re looking for people who love Jesus, love teens, and are ready to show up consistently as reliable, friendly mentors who walk alongside students in this season of life. This is a highly relational team where you’ll help lead small groups, build trust over time, and create a space where students feel seen, known, and encouraged in their faith.
Commitment: Serve every week from 6-8pm Wednesday or 9:45-11:30am on Sunday (or both). To create a consistent environment for our students, we ask that you commit to serve for the entire school year
College + Young Adults
The College and Young Adults Team is a place to invest in 18–25 year olds through discipleship, mentorship, and community. Whether leading a small group or serving once a month at The Place through setup, teardown, or hospitality, this team helps create environments where young adults can encounter Jesus and build lasting faith.
Serving on this team is an opportunity to meaningfully pour into young adults and walk alongside them as they grow as disciples of Jesus.
Commitment: Once a month, at The Place through prayer, hospitality, setup, or teardown OR one evening a week, as a community leader.
Alpha
Become a Help or Helper at Alpha and help create safe, open, and welcoming spaces for people exploring faith. These groups are different from a typical church group, focusing less on having all the answers and more on listening well, building trust, and making space for honest conversation.
This is a chance to see lives transformed, build meaningful community, and play a key role in helping people feel seen, known, and welcomed at Vintage. Don’t want to be in a group? Join our A-Team and help Alpha run smoothly by serving on our hospitality team and supporting the overall experience.
